Samhain: Witching Hour - 6.7.0 Update

This Samhain Seasonal Event will be active from October 21st until November 18th.

What to expect?

Gathering event

• The Seasonal Enemy monsters (White Hexmoths, Black Hexmoths, Witch Hunters, Witch-Eating Hounds, Owen) will be scattered across the following zones:
• Lir's Reach
• Stonevale
• Shalemont Ravine
• Otherworld
• This Samhain’s friendly seasonal NPCs will be located in Lir’s Reach near the Dustwither Catacombs. Some of them will be related to the quests, and one of them will be the  Seasonal Tokane Vendor where you will be able to use your tokens or exchange your masks.

Note: Don’t be alarmed if your character flees when approaching the Black Hexmoth - it’s all part of the witching hour’s magic!

Mask Collection & Upgrades

Embrace the spirit of the season with the new Moon Masks: Gealach Veil each holding ancient lunar power.

• Simple Moon Mask -  Simple Mask in the form of a waning half moon or Third Quarter moon. Available from the Seasonal Token Vendor for Seasonal Tokens.
• Moon Mask with VFX: Female and Male versions - Obtainable through the seasonal trick or treat mystery bag.
• Female Moon Mask: “Triple Moon” - The triple moon represents the moon in its waxing, full and waning phases, this symbol represents the triple Goddess through her roles as a youthful maiden, creative mother and wise crone. It can also be seen to represent the cycle of birth, life and death.
• Male Moon Mask: “Horned God” - The counterpart to the triple Goddess. This symbol represents the masculine principle of power, energy and the wildness of nature.
• Moon Mask “Dryghtyn” - You will have the ability to upgrade your Moon Mask with effects to a greater version. Once both gendered versions are obtained, the Triple Moon and Horned God, they will be upgraded to the Dryghtyn at the Seasonal Token Vendor.

Note: The gendered Moon Masks cannot be equipped on the opposite gender character. In case you receive the opposite gendered mask, you can exchange it at Seasonal Token Vendor for free or keep it in your inventory so you can upgrade it to Moon Mask “Dryghtyn”.

Seasonal Quests

There will be 3 chapters telling the story of Owen that will contain: Non-repeatable, Daily, and Weekly quests. These quests will provide you with the two seasonal tokens Golden Witchmark and Silver Witchmark.

• Non-Repeatable Quests: They are present in Chapter 1,2 and 3
• Daily Quest: They are present in Chapter 1,2 and 3
• Weekly Quest: They are present only in Chapter 3

New Mystery Bag:

Trick or Treat Mystery Bag - where players will have a chance to “Win up to 3 rewards from each mystery bag including a chance of the new remastered Samhain Skeleton Charms, new Multiflute seasonal novelties, Bewitched hoodies, Premium Pet and Mount tokens and one of the very rare Remastered Oblivion Novelty Mounts.”

Every mystery bag or chest comes with a guaranteed bonus loot item -  seasonal currency.

NEW Novelty Weapons

This season, we have new novelty weapons:

• The Multiflute in three different variations: Pumpkin, Skull, and Skullkin.
• The Flute, again in the same three variations: Pumpkin, Skull, and Skullkin - You can win the Skull and Pumpkin Flute as a bonus reward from completion of every bounty quest. The Skullkin can be obtained from the Trick or Treat bag.
• The Bagpipes: Pumpkin, Skull, and Skullkin.

Samhain 2025 will introduce “Veilfire Steeds of Oblivion”  with a total of 7 different color appearances, a remastered model of the wellknown Nithsteeds of Oblivion from the past. Novelty Veilfire Oblivion Steeds are available only via “Trick or Treat Mystery Bag”:

We will start off the festivities with 50% Bonus XP and Monster Madness events, and of course, the daily free Bounties will be increased by 4, with up to 7 bounties with pledges. They will end on Thursday, October 30th.
